ReRitual
Sustainable memorial service to reduce the environmental impacts of rubber balloonsIn this sustainable design project, we focused on the overlooked environmental impact of disposable latex balloons. By analyzing consumer behavior and critiquing disposability culture, we identified design interventions. Collaborating with LokaReboon, we proposed setting up balloon recycling bins at weddings and turning collected balloons into keepsakes. This initiative aimed to enhance emotional engagement and recycling motivation, creating a "sustainable memorial ritual" service.
