Developing cross-platform application to enhance data retrieval & management for Bosch Global Business Services.
As a UI/UX intern on the OSTIN project team at Bosch, I designed a multi-purpose plugin to address the company's fragmented information and large data challenges. This plugin integrates multiple databases and provides customized information retrieval and recommendation services, enhancing data management across global operations.
Collaborating closely with product managers, pilot communities, and developers in an Agile environment, I redesigned the information architecture and optimized the user experience based on qualitative and quantitative feedback. I also facilitated a workshop with the GS APAC President to align stakeholder expectations with product OKRs. My contributions led to a 15% increase in monthly active users and a 17% rise in daily activity, significantly boosting user engagement and efficiency.

Plugin-based Digital Application OSTIN
Dispersed content and poor search UXDifficulty finding needed information while being overwhelmed with irrelevant content
High mngt costs, low ROI/ conversion ratesTime-consuming to create quality content, with only 5-15% of the audience engaging, leading to unsatisfactory feedback.
Hard to assess content promotion impact and user satisfaction; lack of precise user data and interest analysis.
Need more comprehensive and accurate user information and search behavior data
Info spread across platforms, requiring users to switch, leading to poor experience and user loss; ineffective dissemination channels.
Need a platform that consolidates all information for easy access
Content creation and management demand significant time and manpower, increasing operational burden and costs.
Need to recommend relevant information to specific user groups in a more targeted and appealing way
- Integrate data sources across platforms for easier access and retrieval
- Embed as a plugin in webpages, offering a lightweight and comprehensive search tool
- Record and analyze user behavior, helping admins capture user needs and provide more targeted content recommendations to enhance user satisfaction
